just realised how more hyped i should be for this album than carter iv. i think carter ivs problem was tez trying to "normalize" lil wayne. by that i mean he chose very understandable, mainstream-ish songs that would appeal to a wide variety of people. waynes fans dont like down-to-earth wayne though. everyone grew to love his stream of conciousness and barely comprehensible and sometimes incoherent raps. he is a martian after all

To be honest, that was what most of C4 was about. Some lines just don't make sense.
