Jay-Z is at the top because his album just came out, and it is hot. C3 was 10 times hotter, but it was released over an year ago.. the problem is the timing of the Hottest MC's list, cause last year it was before the release of C3 i think

Yeah its weird, they keep saying about how the fans decide and how the they go by the poll! Em' won the poll by a 8 miles and 50 did pretty well so did lloyd banks! Its alright its the hottest list not the best list Wayne did well again.
50 Cent does deserv a spot up there, his mixtape was probably up with one of the hottest mixtapes of 2009. And he has been doing big things with mixtapes and his website.

Okay man, it's your opinion, all I gotta do is respect it. But, yeah, obviously I listenned to the album, I got it as well. Bu that shit just doesn't grow on me. I agree there's good lyrics on that shit, but that stupid accent fucks it all up. I don't like the "crazy, insane" eminem. I never liked his singles, like "Just Loose it" etc. To me, that ain't rap. It's just stupid songs. songs like Stan, Like Toy Soldiers, When I'm gone... these are real songs, beautiful songs, RAP songs. It makes me cry when I listen to these songs and then I think of relapse. (exaggeration, of course)
I just hope Relapse 2 is that Eminem that most of us love.

Yes, you're right. But when we say an artist is hot in the industry, he's got to have good sales and radioplay, so as some mainstream. Look, to me, the best flow and lyrical ablility right now goes to Termanology. so what? the nigga just got signed, and only underground lovers know him. So obviously he doesnt make top 100 on mtv.
