Drake and Lil Wayne are joining forces against a lawsuit which is asking them to hand over $400k for a missed club appearance.
Lil Wayne and Drake are refusing to pay $400,000 to a company that sued them for not showing up to a club appearance, because the two YMCMB stars say they were never told about the gig.
TMZ reports that they have teamed up to fight the default judgement against them. A judge ordered both rappers to pay $432,337.50 to Imperial Entertainment Group. The company originally sued them saying they failed to show up to a 2011 event.
Drizzy & Weezy claim in court documents that they were never told about the appearance, and they never signed any contracts. They claim that Imperial Entertainment Group used a third party to book them, Melanzh Enterprises, who had no authority to book them.
The two rappers are asking the court to dismiss the judgement.
