And by that time he should be off probation, so he'll have passion and weed.
He already has weed for fucks sake. How hard is it for you guys to understand this? Do you honestly think after getting out of jail tune is just gonna sit around and NOT smoke weed? If you think that, you're a fucking idiot. I already made this point ages ago when he was first released because he was rapping about smoking in some features, but everyone claimed that those verses were from before he went to jail... well what the fuck do you have to say now bitches! lol im just fucking around, but on another note... the whole D4 tape is covered with lines and metaphors concerning weed! the man is smoking them doobies to THE FACE, smoking the face off as a matter of fact.
Listened to it three times, went to sleep, woke up and put it on again. My first conclusion: simply too much pussy talk. He gets back to the subject too quickly, which starts getting repetitive halfway through the tape. On the other hand, the pussy talk made me laugh so many times, there are some really funny lines in there. It would be nice if Wayne didn't spread it over every song this much though. Imo he did good with the skateboard stuff. Again, some funny lines in there and he didn't abuse it, which is a big plus.
I was looking forward to the solos the most, and the minutes the tape started Wayne sounded like he was on fire and was about to go crazy. Damn, I really enjoyed the first three tracks, with Cashed Out being the most funny song on the mixtape. No Worries kinda disturbed the flow. Therefor didn't like it the first time. Didn't really feel it and when I heard Wayne go crazy like he just went really hard, I was like 'meh'... But now I've listened to it some more, I am starting to like it a bit more( haven't looked up the lyrics but is he really referring to Super Monkey Ball? LOL(Edit: nvm looked it up), but if it's going to be a part of IANAHB2.. Not sure.
Mercy has an amazing beat and I enjoyed Nicki's damn nast verse haha. Don't like her voting republican thoughWayne's verse was a bit of a let down( Who was that a the end btw? Sounded like Busta lol). But Wayne turned the engine on again with Burn. One of the best songs on the mixtape. Good flow. Same goes for Amen, though I like it a little less. Didn't know who Boo was () but I didn't dislike it; it fitted well on the tape. Can't say that about Get Smoked. Skipping that one. Oh, and I'm also gonna skip My homes Remix (...wtf?) I read a lot about Green Ranger and I understand some people like J. Cole's flow but personally I don't really like the entire song. Annoying beat and J. Cole's raps on it like a lot of Dutch rappers do. And I don't like it. Lol.
I didn't really like I Don't Like, but that might be because of the sound quality, which is distracting. Wayne is having fun though and I hope I'll start appreciating it more later. Btw, was that Chris Brown at the end? We know No Lie. I didn't like Magic, Flow sounds so bad. Skipped his verse every time. Wish You Would was a nice closing of the mixtape. Really liked this one, Wayne has great flow and has kept one of the best songs for last.
Overall I like the beats on the mixtape. Wayne feels them and goes pretty hard. Not the best lyrics ever, but he really did hit some good buttons ( Dutch proverb lol) with it. Yes, the mixtape is a bit short and there are no skits. Some of the feat. songs are crap and the closing A Dedication isn't really worth listening to more than once. I'm not going to rate the mixtape, it has to sink in a bit more for that. And a lot more play throughs. Besides, who cares about how I would rate it, lol. So above is just my opinion based on a few playthroughs.
Tony told us this world was ours And the Bible told us every girl was sour Don't play in the garden and don't smell her flower Call me Mr. Carter or Mr. Lawn Mower
Anyone else think Flo absolutly nutted on magic?!?! he kinda reminds me of how weezy used to spit like!
my flow is retarded i think i got a birth defect...highway to heaven where the fuck ur chauffeur at.. these niggas softer than the pillows on my sofa set>>>>>>
D4 was better than i expected good beats good flow substance was paper thin though but wayne had some good lines best we have got from wayne in a while IMO so i aint too dissapointed but im definitely a Flo fan now if hes spittin that shit consistantly!
Tbh I'm really disappointed as for it being a 'Dedication' mixtape..(first impression)
There are good tracks on it tho
Nickis verse on Mercy>>>>>>
I'll take it for what it is, listen to it and hope it'll grow on me a little more and definitely need that 320 kbps
For some reason the lack of skits really botheres me (but thats incidental, just imo)
So Dedicated
Same Damn Tune
Cashed Out
I Don't Like
Wish You Would
Magic
Those are the tracks he did best on imo
Overall it's an average mixtape for me but I'll take it for what it is (6.5/10)
Still gonna bump it tho
btw what happened to Boo nigga got wack
