Grammy Award winner and entertainer Lil Wayne will make an appearance at Dillard’s Inc. store at Jefferson Mall on Oct. 27 as he promote his new apparel brand, Trukfit.
Trukfit, a line of "contemporary street wear," will be sold at Dillard’s (NYSE: DDS) stores across the nation, as well as through the Dillards.com Web site, beginning Oct. 25, according to a news release.
The first 300 shoppers to purchase $150 or more in Trukfit apparel at one of Louisville’s Dillard’s stores (Jefferson Mall, Mall St. Matthews or Green Tree Mall) will receive a wristband that will allow them access to a VIP party at the Jefferson Mall store on Oct. 27.
The first 10 shoppers to spend $500 or more on Trukfit clothing will be part of an exclusive meet and greet with Lil Wayne, where they also will be given a special limited edition Trukfit gfit.
