Emmett Till's Family Sends Prayers To Lil Wayne

The family of Emmett Till isn’t letting their clash with Lil Wayne stop them from sending the ailing rapper positive vibes as he recovers in a L.A. Hospital.

This afternoon the Mamie Till Mobley Foundation posted the following status to their Facebook page:

"Certainly the family of Emmett Till is praying for Lil Wayne's recovery. . .Wayne IS a HuMAN, just as Emmett Till was."

Last month Lil Wayne came under fire for his inflammatory lyrics that mentioned the brutally murdered 14-year-old. Epic records pulled the song and Till's family wrote an open letter expressing their anger over the rappers lack of sensitivity.
