He also said if Jay Z and Lil Wayne died at the same time, Jay Z would be the GOAT

I wonder why he thinks Jay would be above Pac and Biggie, they had a deeper impact on the rap game. Why the hell is everybody dick riding Jay-Z ?

Jay has had a longer impact and a deeper impact than 2Pac or Big.

Jay's kindof like the Michael Jordon of rap, his legacy is proven by stats, championships, and overall respect.
Jay has the numbers, the wealth, and legendary respect.

And I agree some of Jay's new music is boring, but thte Black Album and The Blueprint are so dope to listen to, some of the best beats and lyricism of the decade.

People tend to forget what was popular before Wayne and Kanye came around. Dem Franchize Boyz and Lil John were taking Hip-Hop into a deathtrap after 50 and Em fell off.

I'd put 'em in this order:

                1. 2Pac
                2. Lil Wayne
                3. Jay-Z
                4. Biggie

Meh, music wise, i've never seen the big deal. Also, as far as stats and championships go, technically Kanye & Em are better than Jay. His flow is really boring and most of the beats he pick are wack imo (But i don't like a lot of East coast beats)

Pac had a wayyyy bigger impact on hip hop than Jay does tbh, he spoke truth in about 90% of his lyrics. I'm not saying Jay is fake or anything, but he just mostly brag in his music rather than speak on important matters. Now BIG is a debatable GOAT, he died way too early tbh, but IMO none of Jay's projects can hold up to neither Ready to Die nor Life or Death.

But where i'm from not a lot of people listen to Jay, plus I believe that if BIG would've never died then Jay definitely wouldn't be as popular. But, the main reason Jay is still relevant musically is because of Kanye & Beyonce tbh.

BTW this is not a hater talking. I actually have all his music downloaded and really enjoyed him on WTT. Hell I even have his Library of a Legend song collection, but after listening to all his stuff and really wanting to know what's the big deal about him. I still don't get it, I just came to the conclusion that since BIG died, the East needed someone to go up against the West (Dre, Snoop, Cube and etc.) so they just looked at Jay. Then, just boosted him up as the elite MC, even though he's only Top 30 imo.

It's all good my friend. I'm not that big of a Jay fan.

It's really Jay's respect that puts him up there IMO.
Think of how Wayne acted when Jay called him up back in 03 or whatever when he did a Jay song on a SQ mixtape?
That was Wayne's biggest moment for the next couple of years.

Anyways, I'm not really that hung up about it.

The thing about Jay-Z is even tho he might be a good lyricist he never talks about real stuff, Pac was real as hell, he talked about being human, about society, life, etc. Jay has wordplay but I never heard him talk about real life problems,I never heard him get deep on the song, he attempts to be deep on "Song cry" but he kind of fails.

His flow is good one some songs, but mostly it sounds broken,it's like he talks and doesen't even try to flow, one example could be The Black Album.

As far as pure skill Eminem beats him in that category by far, just my opinion tho,I'm not hating on him cause I have like 20 tracks from him in my playlist that I like.
