It's weird because Beyonce, being a singer, has pop fans on lock already. Wayne's C3 and C4 both had a song for these "pop" fans which were Lollipop and How To Love, respectively. IF Wayne drops out of nowhere, do you think it'll have same sales as previous two without following suit of the last two Carters?

What are you talking about? Wayne mentions C5 in a lot of his verses. That is all the promotion he needs. I think it would be a good idea for him to drop it out of no where. 5-5-14 won't happen, it's too obvious. This is a reach, but what if it is doubled with the Young Money album? Birdman has a history of saying albums will be doubled up. It could still be a surprise if you go buy the Young Money album and you also get C5.

If he goes Beyoncé route it's 350-500K 1st week max.

          I'd say 500k-750k max.

Can't see it doing a million. Unless there was a fire ass single a day before release.

          • If he goes normal route he can top 700K.

            • That would be different and probably work in their favor. I just see C5 as something that will be legendary and should be packeged and sold on it own. I can see it in Wayne tho. He has a totally different attitude about this shit. I watched him on First Take today and he looked and acted like old Wayne. My Nigga verse is the closest thing Ive heard to vintage Wayne in a while. I think hes about to surprise people.. he's about to make a lot of people sit back and think, why the fuck have I been hatin on Wayne.

              • CV will no matter what promotion strategy is used, not go over 675k first week in sales. That is me being as optimistic as I can. This is not the same Wayne that we had during any other Carter.

No, he won't have the same sales. When How to Love dropped I was a junior in high school with a little sister in middle school - her and all her friends bought the single and album only because of that song - before they had no idea what a little wayne was.

                • I think Wayne should release three singles with videos, for three days in a row.. and on the fourth day drop the album.

                    • Surprise drop: 450-500K

                      normal drop: 800K

I don't think wayne really cares how much he sells tbh

For C5 To Be Included In Another Album Is Dumb! Wayne Has Lost Fans! He Need A Banging Single To Earn Some Shit Back! Tha Carter Series Is A Brand, One Of The Most Popular Series In Rap. You Can't Just Try Something New And See If It Works With This! If He Randomly Puts It Out. The Songs From The Intro - Outro Would Have To Be Spectacular For It Too Even Do 300k First Week! Now If He Was To Fuck Around & Put That Devol Shit Out Like That Then That Would Be Fine. But Not C5!..........

in that case its probably 800k-850k max.
