Drake became almost as famous as Wayne in like barely 5 years though. How long has Wayne been making music? How long did it take Wayne to sell 1 million copies? It took him exactly from 1996 to 2008. 12 years versus 5 years. And Carter 4 didn't even sell a mill.

So look at that difference. Drake has so much more potential than Wayne. And to be tied down to a washed up label is a waste of his talent.

He doesn't need Wayne and can be bigger.

Drake will never have an album chart as well as either of those albums, you know it and I know it. Drake will never be respected and as big as Wayne was from 05-09. He had the streets and the mainstream behind him. Drake will never have a single hood in America behind him, you know it and I know it.

You seem to ignore the fact that Drake signed to Wayne. He didn't sign to Jay, he didn't sign to Kanye, he signed to Wayne. Wayne didn't have no superstar that he signed to. He had the option of going to the Roc and Jay back when Jay was bigger than life and Kanye was fucking gigantic and he didn't take it. Wayne could have went the Drake route and went to the biggest artist in the game and use them as a mentor, but he didn't.

I know Drake had other offers, but they would not have brought him the same exposure of having the biggest rapper in the game behind you would have, you know that and I know that.
