"Lil Wayne vs. Drake" Tour

Just got home from Seattle's show. I had to buy a passport and travel from Canada, but it was totally worth it. G Eazy opened (blah)..WEEZY WAS THE BEST! I took tons of pics and some vids. I've gotta sort through and see if any are good. I was having troubles standing still because I was way to pumped. Drake mentioned me because I had a shirt made that said "Weezy" on the front in hot pink letters (I was 5th row floor and going absolutley crazy), and he told WEezy I knew every word Weezy had just rapped. I need to find someone with the footage of that because I turned my camera off literally the second before Drake said it to Weezy. Weezy made a comment in reply about " that's my baby's mama, or I brought a baby's mama or something. I can't remember, I was way too stunned and excited. Near the end of the show when Weezy was thanking everyone after he won tonight, he said "Thank the lady Drizzy was talking about, I don't know who you're talking about" and then Drake comes up and says "right there" and points to me and Weezy looks over at me ( I have that on video). OMG, dying...now I am even more OBSESSED. I didn't think that was possible! Love Weezy to Death! Will sort through pics and videos tomorrow and post what is any good. This was my first time seeing Lil Wayne and he FAR exceeded my expectations. He is amazing live.

Was pretty wack that we didn't get an opener, but I feel like they were both on their game compared to some vids I've seen from some other concerts.

so some of my biggest takeaways from the night...


waynes gotta be able to do like 200 pullups over the course of a day. his lats are ridiculously developed.

also his posture, you could tell he hasnt spent like 80 percent of his life hunched over in front of a computer. super up right, chest out.



modern production is wayyy more ambient.. a lot of waynes older records sounded smaller compard to newer drake ones.. drakes latest stuff filled up a lot of space.. w how deep the sounds were. it a lot easier to feel in a live setting..


wayne is like straight out of a tarantino movie.. complete character. shades dreads teeth blunt... its like everything he does..has been stylised and designed for the wayne character. its incredible.


hes got dumb energy.. on some like dragon ball shit. he can create it out of nowhere.. and it jumps really high really fast. the very first big move he made of the night was like a sonic boom.


i was blown away by the dj battle.. lol. it always reminds me how lil wayne has so many purist hip hop critics.. when the man has been doing pure hiphop.. since hes started. go dj.. is literally as hiphop as a record can be.. goin back to like the 80s when the raps were celebrating the djs. now this guy still has djs battling at his show... andd his dj.. is the on actually spinning. its incredible



watching i felt like wayne was no where near done.. this tour.. reminds me a lot of dedication 5.. kind of a shame he didnt perform more if it. but in a lot of ways.. its very much a throwback tour.. like a reminder of who he is. what hes done. a lot of c4 records.. only believe me from c5.. and the rest was throwback shit.. super cool.. got to see records i never thought id see.

the carter 5 tour is goin to be bananas.

a milli.. is fucking crazy live. i think that won him the night. building lost its collective mind when that came on.



wouldve liked to see some more performances of songs they done together.. and some more d5... but all in all.. concerts pretty fly... ima give it like an 8/10. next time im goin drunk tho. lool fkit.

Here is the 14 videos that I took at the show. Keep in mind this camera is new, it was my first time using it. I bought it just for the concert. I am obviously a huge Weezy fan because there is not much Drake recorded. Excuse my yelling, singing and lack of being able to control myself and stand still most of the time, but I think I got some pretty good clips, about 50 mins worth. Enjoy
