This past April, the rap blogosphere grew into a frenzy when word got out that Mannie Fresh and Lil Wayne were back in the studio. The hype surrounding the epic, long-awaited reunion got even realer when songwriter/producer Charles Pettaway posted a Twitpic of himself alongside the Cash Money brothers during their lab session.
Speaking to REVOLT this past weekend in Manchester, TN for the 2014 Bonnaroo Music Festival, where he headlined the Red Bull Music Academy Sonic Stage, the Crescent City superproducer confirmed reuniting with Weezy in the studio for new music and even gave credit to Bonnaroo for making it all happen.
“The second time [at Bonnaroo] was crazy,” Mannie recalled of the 2011 festival that found Lil Wayne headlining. “That was me and Wayne probably the first time being on stage in five years. And I guess what’s crazy about it is [that] we’re back in the studio working now,” he continued. “It’s something about the power of Bonnaroo.”
That 2011 night was surely memorable for many Cash Money fans, as Mannie and Wayne joined forces on the Bonnaroo stage, embraced and made it clear that they were never really at odds.

I don't know how to add video from REVOLT so you have to go to the link, I'm sorry for that. I'll update it whenever it is uploaded on YouTube.
