The album is obviously all done and ready for release, but they are waiting for hype to rise, meaning they are waiting for tour to end, and prolly mixtape to drop..

agree with everything except the mixtape.
we get so much weezy only songs in 2014/early 2015, c5 & DOA, just wouldn't fit imo.
maybe a drake/wayne mixtape but not a solo mixtape, but otherwise they would probably keep it (if it actually happens) and make it an album.
but we'll see.

…what? You can't turn a Weezy mixtape into a album. He raps over other artists beats.

i'm just saying he was in the studio so much recording for c5, i don't think he rapped over other artists beats that we get a solo mixtape.
and the other thing i was saying is that if wayne & drake have n upcoming project they probably won't let drake & wayne record for a mixtape, they would let them record for an album.
just guessing tho.
I think all of his recording and stufff is done but they prolly just need to finish the mastering of a few songs and maybe like the packaging or planning of it or something

He will work on it and try to perfect it the most he can until the last minute, and that is a guarantee. ESPECIALLY with an album of this magnitude, and the amount of weight it will hold on his legacy when he actually is really, really retired from hip-hop, which i don't think will be for a few years at least, imo, not the way he's going right now, he seems to have his focus and most importantly his hunger back, which it had seemed he lost over the last few years, but you can actually hear and feel that he has it back. In my opinion, either this "listening party" is just straight made-up and not really happening what so ever in reality, which is a major possibility.
OR that YMCMB is going to do this listening party to potentially get feedback from whom ever is there, and let them listen to a list of songs that Wayne recorded specifically for CV, then take the feedback that they get and put together the album based off of the feedback and critique they receive, and at least use that feedback to assist in putting the album together, instead of just letting Tez throw the 'thing' that he would throw together and try and call it an album, because we all know how he likes to put Wayne's material together. This is just my opinion, based off of what they could potentially be doing, which imo, would be a very good way of putting together the best album that they can. Because like i said, the album definitely is not yet finished, and won't be finished until the last minute that Wayne has to work on it. That's how he works, and how he always has.
