Mannie came absolutely correct with this. Out of anyone who has addressed this situation so far, Mannie would definitely know more of what Wayne is thinking and going through in his thought process with all of this and his decision to split from Cash Money. Without a doubt. After all, he's been there himself, just as a producer instead of a rapper for the label. Obviously, and i couldn't agree more with everything he said, I've been thinking this same thing since all of this starting going down, especially because when Wayne first broke the news on what was going on, the first thing he said was that his 'creative process', basically wasn't 'creative' at all anymore, it was just a 'process', one that he's been doing for more then a decade, and he couldn't do it anymore because he was handcuffed by Cash Money to do and abide by what they wanted him to do, or more importantly not to do. What Mannie said about how Wayne transcends hip-hop, is absolutely correct, but he hasn't been able to take that to the next level because it has seemed like, which I've always thought was the case, that he's been almost forced to put his label-mates on his projects, probably not every time, but in my opinion he was made to do it more then we thought it was Wayne's actual decision to do it himself. I mean what happened to all these features for his previous albums that supposedly happened but never made those projects? Such as the U2 one? Cash Money has been restricting Wayne and who he can work with for a lot longer, a lot more frequently, and to a much greater degree then i think that any of us would have thought in the past. He knows he's needed to expand, he's not blind, he sees what the other artists are doing and who they are working with, and what it does for their career and their projects. But with Cash Money and more importantly Birdshit being the faggot that he is, Wayne's been restricted to keep who he works with, for the most part, especially more recently, to his label-mates. And among many other things, i believe he's done with it, he clearly is. In the end, this is going to take Wayne back to level he once was, and above. In my opinion. This is also why i believe SFTW2 had very, very few features, and especially had almost a complete absence of the artist we are used to seeing on projects with him. Which is also a big reason in my opinion why the mixtape is getting the praise it is, because it's nearly 90% Wayne, and that's what we've been waiting for. At least I know I have. He definitely has been restricted who he has been able to work with by Cash Money, he has worked with legends, but not as many as he could, or should have. Sine the beginning, and more importantly more recently.

It's funny you say that, don't be oblivious yes we know wayne is wayne and that he can do 4m downloads in 2 days and whatever his sales tend to be... But thats wayne fans and wayne is how big he is but the truth be told. If he got artists who universally are listened to by everyone in America. He hasn't got that. Mannies example of jay is exactly how I assume everyone's felt. Yeah he's got a em feature. He's a rapper. Yeah he got Andre , whoever on c4 but those are rappers.... Truth is if wayne got a feature like JT or someone and it was organic. The shit would feel like the old wayne you all harp about. Maybe just improved or tweaked a bit. But Paul McCartney , Rick Rubin. He dosnt make ANY of those moves. He needa more than just the new best rappers and a couple GOATS of rap on his album.
