i click on start free trial

enter my email and password

then it takes me to the credit card page

i create my account first; click sign up then enter email/pass
then click on start free trial
then i enter my apple id password when they ask for it
and that's it, they say congratulations, they give you 2 options, i click on "manage" to cancel the auto-renewal

i hope i didn't forget any step
made it last week so can't exactly remember

but i'm sure they didn't ask for credit card info

good shit i just did it and it worked.

For those of you who are reading this, i did it on an iPhone and when you download the Tidal app it'll ask you to sign up and then it'll ask for your Apple ID password to sign in. Then it'll ask if you want to start free trial and press continue, and it'll launch you to the itunes store. From there it'll ask you if you want to start the free trial and say yes, and then it'll eventually take you somewhere where it will have a popup option saying 'Manage' . Click on that and it'll take you into itunes store and thats where you turn off automatic renewal switch OFF and wont ask you for your credit card at all, even if you dont have one on your Apple ID
