That's not what he said here though. Basically what he said here was it all just came naturally and he really wasn't trying really hard, striving to go in and make the best music he's made, but when he does it'll be something else. It's just the natural hunger he has now that makes it seem like he's really pushing himself.

What he's said before is "ah yeah my album was the shit but it aint shit compared to what I'm doing now" basically.

He even just said "usually I stay humble and just say I tried my best" or whatever.
He said he's biding his time until he's actually free of all this shit, then he'll really push himself.

Different to what he's said in the past as far as I'm concerned. He's in such a differen't place than he was 2 or 3 years ago. I'm excited.
