Anyway, there's no way holding a mic up to a speaker results in zero loss. That is factually incorrect, it would result in substantial loss. A direct rip of the audio source on a PC from software as described (i.e. Audacity) would result in as clean a rip as is possible. Recording from a speaker to a mic would only result in a degradation from that point, regardless of the quality of the speaker or the mic. A clean PC rip would be lossless, that's ... just not lossless. It's not even lossy, it's just gross.

People don't appreciate this kinda music anymore. That's why Wayne is being shit on. Not because he's lyrically weak because honestly he's stronger than he even was in 09.
That's why I didn't get people doggin the shit outta S4TW2, but I get it now. Wayne's style is lowkey outdated. No one raps on other people's beats anymore. When Wayne makes party music he succeeds, but then people say he's trash because he was at one time undoubtedly, "The Best Rapper Alive" and his party music doesn't reflect that. And when he tries to be more true to himself, that stigma is with him and people write him off.
The ones that don't dismiss him immediately only really want his radio shit, so they're displeased too. Most people just don't care about lyrics anymore unless you're the current good guys aka Kendrick or Cole or Drake. Besides them, and maybe Meek, Tip, Ross, Wale, and Sean(but none of them reached anywhere near the heights of pop as Wayne) all people care about are catchy hooks and flows the mainstream can't even understand or care to learn. It's just like Maco says.
Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.
