This gonna be interesting to follow lmao
On Dec. 27, Drake tied Lil Wayne for most all-time Billboard Hot 100 appearances by a solo act. Today (Feb. 3), Weezy surges ahead of Drizzy once again.
Thanks to his guest feature on Wale’s new single “Running Back,” Tunechi is back on top with 133 total chart appearances. Drizzy, meanwhile, still has 132 all-time Hot 100 songs.
What’s so interesting about this particular record is that Wayne and Drake are likely to go head-to-head for years to come. Some might argue that, when it’s all said and done, Drake will come out ahead of Wayne, because Drizzy is several years younger than his mentor.
Lil Wayne and Drake are ahead of several iconic artists on the all-time Billboard Hot 100 list. Coming in at the number three spot is none other than Elvis Presley (108 songs), followed by James Brown at number four (91 songs) and Jay Z at number five (86 songs). In other Lil Wayne-related news, the Young Money rapper has been hard at work. Tunechi is slated to appear on his ex-girlfriend Trina’s upcoming album, and he’s also going to have a guest spot alongside Nicki Minaj on David Guetta’s new single.
