  • Lil' Wayne (Carter 3 Era) Influences Today?

I do believe when Wayne became Tunechi, after the Weezy F. Baby era, he made some collaborative mixtapes with Juelz Santana. Who also was a part of Dipset & they also threw up many times the hand signs, similiar to what Wayne throws up numerous times, middle finger inward.
So my plans with this thread is to discuss where his flows, presence, and influences are today.

Most of all these new rappers, even Chief Keef must respect and give credit to Wayne even Gucci Mane, and Young Thug.. to the new top nigga IMO.. Trippie Redd..

I made a video of Wayne called "Swagger Jacker (Extended Version)" Almost ten years ago or seven, about Wayne taking flows and using them as his own like Jay-Z did..

Now many rappers use his flows, styles, tattoos, lean, etc...
    Autotune.. etc...

So many are still replicating all he has done.
What are some of your thoughts?

Thank you so much! I also believe he doesn't get much credit. But I do hope you bosses up, release C5, improve Young Money.. or he is struck. LilWayneHQ is like the livest part about him. Keeping him alive. Which is why I returned. Seeing if we can push him, unless unwanted.

These new niggaz all same so much alike and he was the first to be that guy. Lean sipping, tattooed, auto tune, freestyle genius with unlimited mixtapes & features. We need another artist similar.

It's like 2Pac being mad at these new rappers like he mentioned in his 1995 Prison interview at Riker's Island. #SupportTheReal Don't support #ThePhonies.

Maybe you would of been better posting this in the Lil Wayne section because this isn't Latest News but I think even the haters of Tunechi know he birthed all of these "new rappers"

Technically, but it's more than just Wayne.. it's a lot all ALL new rappers and the timeline of their infleunce from Wayne during he's C3 Era.. I will add and update more. Linking exact songs to something Wayne originally did, dates.. etc.

Yeah, I haven't heard or seen all but planning to either search or have you all link them on this thread. To connect dots & express it better/more.

                      Like who?
                      Define Influenced
They go in the studio and be like
“I wanna make a song like Wayne and sound just like him”
                      Or Because they referenced him?
Or have a political correct answer saying he’s one of the best ?
