Yo anybody who’s been to the show can you guys tell me if the crowd was hyped when Wayne was performing? I just watched some clips when he performed at The Forum and the crowd looked packed but the crowd wasn’t doing shit it seemed liked. Wayne’s energy was not to hyped but I can understand saving energy due to performing many songs. Would like to know your first hand experience.

I wasn't sure at the time if my perception was accurate because I was in the pit so I had no sense really of what the rest of the crowd behind me was like, but when I saw clips later it seemed like people throughout the audience were pretty lit for his part of the show
It was definitely my sense that more people (at least up front) were there for Blink but the Blink fans around me genuinely gave him a chance, said they wanted to support Blink's decision to tour with him, and told me after they had come in sort not expecting to enjoy Wayne but left feeling like he is a charismatic performer who is perhaps misunderstood (HA) and that they would be more open minded about his music in the future so that was really cool

@DLynn14 appreciate your response! I’m going on the 31st and I’m really hoping the crowd gets hyped. I remember Drake vs Lil Wayne in 2014 and man that was such a great concert. I was watching clips of this tour to get my self hyped and was dissapointed af seeing dead crowds and Wayne just rapping with no energy.

He was doing his usual call/response stuff and people were getting it and he was really happy about that. I completely agree though, I have seen some clips from other stops where the crowd seems really nonparticipatory and his energy seems much lower, its hard to watch. I feel really fortunate that things were so good at the one I attended, literally the very next night was the VA stop that he walked out on

I will say though I don't believe he performs with the same energy he did when he was like running from side to side on the stage and taking his shirt off and waving it all over and stuff like back in the day. From what I have seen online in the last yearish I have the definite impression that he isn't doing that anymore which makes me a bit sad. So when I say he had good energy in Boston I mean good in light of that. Maybe I am wrong or its just the Blink tour and festival circuit, since the attendees aren't exclusively there for him. But I often wonder if we will see him perform like that again or if that particular stage presence is gone
