What made last year special?
I mean the first one was dope and then it‘s just basically the same event over and over again with pretty much the same songs etc.

didn‘t even watch this year‘s show so i‘m just assuming but from what i‘ve seen it wasn‘t mindblowing

While watching I hated how the DJ would say, "Where my day one Weezy fans at?" and I'm thinkin "Oh shit, he about to play some classics!" Whole time, he played John, or something after 2008 smh.

Other than that, shit was raw! I hope I can go next year.

Wayne most likely thinks those songs dropped around 2002 anyway lol.

he did some obscure songs last year if i remember correctly for C3 anniversary, did some other Carter songs, plus the best rapper alive freestyle/scottie pippen verse was dope, i think last year was the best personally, but this year was dope for all the other people there....Trav Meek Future (2 songs but still)

nigga brought out the fucking Birdman & Nicki Minaj last year... not to mention he did Cash Money Millionaires which transitioned into BM fucking JR!!!! Lol it was crazy trust me Year1 & Year4 were the best

I thought he sounded/looked really good and that the lineup was awesome (I also suggest Tidal although there are a few clips on YouTube now). I think they were also in a bigger venue and it was packed, crowd super lit as usual, some cool surprise appearances. And like in years past when I was done watching I still felt like "why have I not gotten myself to Weezyana yet?" Yes I wish Wayne's set was better customized to fit the occasion but I still view this year as pretty awesome even though years past set a super high bar

I did hear there was like a stampede in an earlier set due to people thinking they heard gunshots, barricades knocked down and a bunch of injuries. Apparently people kept their composure enough to raid the abandoned alcohol booths though hhaha...glad it was not serious enough the whole thing was shut down

Wayne sounds so much better with the autotune mic when he performs his singing songs. When I went to the the Blink 182 x Lil Wayne concert he had it on his mic performing how to love. I wonder why he just recently started incorporating it into his sets.
