I've been lurking the forums since Rebirth has caught my attention; and now I'm really curious.

Could Amazon.com have been sent actual hardcopies before someone in Universal/YM said to push it back? What about every other retailer with the same floor date?

If this guy's email is right and he's not trolling us (no offense mate!) then something is going on here..Your receipt indicates your order HAS been shipped today..and that it cannot be cancelled while it's coming half way to your place (fraud).

My point is, if this is real, how could this happen?

Reviewers haven't even gotten their hand on a copy (2 weeks before release date is usually when we're sent promos by the record labels depending on who they are; some way early; some never).

Plus, if you go on amazon.com right now, it says Rebirth is in stock right now. When I checked a week ago, it wasn't.

That's what I'm saying.

I've never seen Amazon do this kinda thing, but I have a feeling someone isn't going to be very happy about this happening.

Maybe Gibzen/FDL (I don't wanna call them out on their bull####) but maybe they could shed some light on this..since they have some secret knowledge we don't have. (Sarcastic)

I recently contacted Cash-Money through their publicist and hopefully want to get some sort of response back. Unfortunately Universal Records don't give us any of C-M records or any sort of date...that way I could give some sort of "mini" update/status for you guys.

Also! A friend of mine bought the album off amazon for shits and giggles, and apparently they shipped it out today to him too. His was the CD only one, and not the dvd one. I'll keep you's updated on what happens with my situation.

Back when the item was first listed, it could have been that when it wasn't set in stone. (Plus; it could have been pulled off the list)

My point is, supposedly my friend also ordered ONLY the cd, and he said he got his shipping info today.
