True. He’s always had a sorta weird voice but without that charisma he used to have his verses just fall short nowadays. Lyrically he’s still there, but you rarely hear the hunger since 2016 or so

Didn't mind the verse but its like what did Ross ask him, do artists have any power when they ask for verses like "can you please rap on this and nothing else, no more yah yah yah's please". Wayne acts so fucking beastly and god like when he talks about his rapping and how he treats every verse like its his last but its bullshit he's just freestyling his shit, high as fuck repeating himself it used to work for him and still can do every so often but he needs to fucking focus. I think he needs to take a break, this whole time with Birdman, he didn't stop rapping and for what? Its like his input went up if anything the last 4 years, he sounds more tired and strained then ever. He needs to go on on holiday and get healthy. Lol he’s probably tired of rapping but doesn’t know how to quit cause it’s all he’s ever known. I’ll never complain about new music from him though because he could’ve been retired in 2009. Throughout all he was going through with CM he was still finding ways to give us music, that’s something I can appreciate. With that said it doesn’t sound like he’s having fun anymore & just rapping for his core fans

It not just ONE average verse though. You seem to be ignoring all the other mediocre stuff he been dropping.
That "Sorry" song with Dame Dolla dropped shortly before the Ross track, and Wayne was subpar on that one too.

And then there's the OTR remix, and these are just the recent bad verses.
