  • Lil Wayne Has 3 of the Best Selling Albums of the Decade

    https://www.billboard.com/charts/dec.../billboard-200

#130 Tha Carter IV (surprisingly low considering how much it sold initially)
#173 Tha Carter V (dope considering it only had a year of sales compared to some albums that had 10 years)
    #194 I Am Not A Human Being

in comparison at the end of 2000’s, Tha Carter III was the #103 best selling album of decade

    - - - Updated - - -

Drake dominated with 7 or so placements
    JAY and Kanye had 2
    Eminem also had 3

Tbh, i don't think Wayne's sales are that great(except C3 and C4) if you look at his Youtube views on his SOLO songs, they are not that great either(except Lollipop(which isn't solo but whatever), How to Love and 6 Foot 7 Foot(no one cares about Gunz)

3 of the best selling albums of the decade is pretty impressive imo, makes him 3/5 this decade (not including FWA cause it wasnt a standard release)

I think in the case of C3 was released in 2008, 1 or 2 years to close the list, albums that came out before 2007, has more advantage .. so I do not think this list so fair

yeah thats definitely true. even so, carter 3 even being on the list is a crazy win. out of all albums released in 10 year span it was 103rd in terms of sales. thats amazing.

Theres a whole bunch of shit going into it. Its a lot more complicated then it looks. For example Take Care is 6x platinum but is below Astroworld and Invasion of privacy which arnt close to 6x plat. Then they have Hoodie SZN above NWTS etc. Basically its not in order of what sold the most

                      "On decade-end
Hot Songs and Top Albums recaps, titles are ranked based on an inverse point system, with weeks at No. 1 on weekly charts earning the greatest value and weeks at lower positions earning the least. Due to changes in chart methodology and title turnover rates over the decade, certain periods were weighted differently."
