I feel like Fat Joe shouldn’t have ask him about those questions because we know Wayne is so disconnected with what’s going on in the world I feel like he should’ve said no comment because we all know he was going to face some back lash behind those comments

Google recommended me an article on Wayne's comments so its def getting attention

Wayne dumb tbh.
I'm fine with him having his own opinion, but I think the issue here with a lot of people is that Wayne comes off as wanting to don't please white people rather then actually believing the shit he's saying.
Charlemagne did a good job exposing Wayne's sudden changing views on racial topics back when he did the infamous ABC interview.

Go to the 7 minute mark.
People defend Wayne saying he changed his mind over the years, but Charlemagne literally dug up audio of Wayne yelling Black Lives Matter on stage mere months before he went on that ABC interview and pretended that he didn't know what BLM was.
Its obvious Wayne a liar and a fake. And between his comments on race inequality and that book that his former white gf dropped its clear he doesn't like black people.
I'll always be a fan of his music but I never want to meet dude in real life.

I think it's complicated by the fact that Wayne often speaks inconsistently on things, doesn't remember things he has said in the past, is high asf most of the time and also is a megamillionaire recluse who is not in touch with current issues. Yes he has made some ignorant statements before but he has always had socially conscious songs including recent songs talking about police brutality. While he mostly let the guests talk and tried to stick to his script he seemed to have a different orientation on YM radio. Alternatively I think its possible he meant to say something along the lines of what Kevin Hart was saying on his show, that there needs to be a shift toward a bigger solution that hasn't yet been totally identified but it just came out horribly wrong and without enough upfront acknowledgement of what he acknowledged with Dre and Kevin Hart that what happened is unacceptable and that people's frustrations are justifiably boiling over. I wish he would clarify because I hate seeing him get ripped up over such a critical issue that could really be an opportunity for someone of his stature to lead on. He really needs a PR person in his ear.
I also have always wondered if Uncle Bob being white has clouded his judgment on this issue since having your life saved after a suicide attempt is really really intense shit which strongly conflicts with the experience most black people are having with police. I think he even said that in the past. I am sure he feels a strong inner gratitude and allegiance there that may be hard to see past. Its clear from the YM episode that he still struggles with having tried to take his own life and I do think that issue is likely bound up with how he talks about police

Some gossip youtube channel covered the Kim story and had like 200k views. Surprised it already didn't reach mainstream news.

Whoops I thought this was the other thread
I see Jay Z personally called the authorities in MN to ask for arrests for all 4 and J Cole out protesting in person. Really wish Wayne would've come out of the gate better on this issue as now he is not only being criticized but also getting outdone by his peers in terms of leadership
