It ain't Weezy making the moves. It's the label. As a Artist you can do whatever you want when you're making your album but when it comes to release dates, promo, shipping and packaging etc. the label runs that

I've said it before, Im willing to bet 10$ that it's getting pushed back again.

Im 99% sure = Trusted people told me that 2nd feb wont be the released date.

It'd be smart to release 2009 rebirth on February 2nd and then a few months later re-release it with like 5-10 new tracks.Just like with Relapse: The Refill.

No it would've been smart to have just released it on Dec 21st 2009. They have ruined any chance of sales going past 150k MAX first week now.

It's been more then a month since rebirth leaked, everyone that's been waiting to buy it, already downloaded the leak, and now, with no new songs, the sales will really fail. On top of that, album sales 2009-10 has been fucked up like crazy.

I love rebirth tho, and ofc ima buy it.

I wouldn't even pay attention to the tracklists that are out right now in all honesty, we've not been told of an official list from Universal or Cash Money and it's only like what 4-5 days until the release

In my opinion this leak was so accidental and unexpected that there weren't even enough records produced to expedite the release on such short notice.

Second, I'm going to be slightly disappointed if there isn't at least 1 or 2 new tracks. Unlike some people I actually like the Rebirth (for the most part), but I also think Weezy failed to create the new genre and flavor of music he was looking for.
