I dont know, i think that they are going to release it while hes in prison, but not before. He has all the music recorded and it will be music recorded from before he went to jail. I dont think he or anyone else would want pre-jail and post-jail recordings on one CD, unless thats what they are going for, but i highly doubt that. It wouldnt sound right. Not only that but it will hold up his fan-base and make him even bigger seeing as hes in jail as well. Then after he gets out he will record a new mixtape and drop that shit, and then he will work on his next studio album. Being refreshed after the mixtape and having smoothed out his flow again, and it will be a full post-jail record. Those would be the smartest and most logical things to do in my opinion anyway.

wayne most likely wont release the carter 4 until 2011. i really dont see him even putting out the single while he is in prison. he just shot videos for 4 rebirth songs and those will be dropped through out his sentence. that will at least take up 3 months of it. and he still has the final say of what can and what cant happen. for all we know he could get into prison and be like i dont want anyone releasing shit until im out because he might change his mind on a lot of stuff he's done for the carter 4 so far.

being in prison changes your thought process so he is going to come out and have a lot of shit on his mind so he will probably record a whole bunch of new shit and once he gets that done then he will. and remember he was in a rush to record that video for the carter 4 so he may want to scrap that recording and actually put out a real video instead of a green screen video. but then again we never know. if we get anything while he's gone that relates to the carter 4 i think it will be a single half way through his sentence
