  • Lil' Wayne > Tupac

I have mad respect for tupac, but I think the only reason people think he is the greatest and forever will be is because he came first. I lil' wayne came before tupac an biggie, the situation would be the exact. Both rappers are sick but tupac came first so people will always think he has the edge an hip hop will never be the same. But to me Wayne style/rap is the best ever. I know many will disagree with me, but lest her ya'll opinions.

Tupac had a different style and appealed to a wider audience, wayne just raps about guns/girls/money/cars and tupac often had real messages in his songs

    so i don't know

I'm aware wayne has a lot of deeper songs like about katrina and such but he isn't known for that, all his mainstream/popular stuff is just the typical rapper talking about cars and jewellery.

If 2Pac was to come out now he would still be the greastest. Only because he was so real..
He made you think about things in your life from a song.. And Lil' Wayne just makes you fantasize about things you want in your life. Both very good at rapping but Pac was fundamental and was all about work. Lil' Wayne just starting to encounter that phase..

Study Pac and study Wayne both in their prime and then tell me who's better..

Pac wasn't average.. some people consider him the black Jesus, and Wayne a martian. So one thing for sure is that their talents exceeds them in being "human'. Meaning they aren't the average person.. they exceed. Like Micheal Jordan did with basketball, Pac did with Rap. And LeBron and Wayne are the next generational chapter.

Tupac had to face more stereotypes, and all type of shit from people who still didnt believe that hiphop was bankable, so technically, historically he's much bigger than Wayne but a lot of people just give him props for being there first.

Btw, tupac DIDNT appeal to a larger audience at all. He is loved by more hiphop fans (but thats after his death). But pac didnt have white girls, guys from other genres and all

Give arguments. Remember, we re talking musically. And except for the message of his lyrics there is no other thing that Pac has that Wayne doesnt. And when it comes to the message Pac was definetly not the best and no matter how you wanna remember him, he always sent mixed signals (guns, jail, dissing everybody ...)

His lyrics were so much deeper than waynes. pac rapped about real life, shit that actually happened. wayne just raps bout money n women most the time.

Pac had more to deal with, back then, rap was seen as very negative, most people didnt wanna listen to it, nowadays, hip hop is much bigger. therefore its easier for wayne to be heard.

Pac was in the game for like 7 years or sumin, waynes already been in it (officially) for about 15 years
