  • recycled lyrics?

now now, i havent listened to tha carter III in long while, so i totally forgot about tracks like playin wit fire. but anyways, today i was listening to playin wit fire, and noticed some of the lyrics off that song was straight from a song that came out way back in 2005-07 i believe its call world of fantasy. anyways im wondered if anyone else noticed it.

heres the songs so you have a better understanding.

yup I noticed that too but that verse is serious, i'm glad he recycled it because he goes in on that last verse about his momma , that needed to be heard and through c3 it was definitely heard. NOTE i'm usually not for recycling verses.

oh yeah, its a hot verse, but i never really noticed it til now. personally idgaf if he recycles all his verses, in the last 3 years the man has put out more quality music then most commercial rappers do in their entire careers. so its cool. but now im wondering what other lyrics has he recycled just for knowledge.

Yeah I agree. It had meaning and he wanted people to know it. I have heard hearm recycle lyrics though like Baseball Sex and Nina but I think its just to change ideas.
