  • Do you consider lil Wayne a sell out?

Ok, i know you are all fans and stuff so i am sure you will say he isn't. but i think it would be hard to say he hasn't sold out a little considering he has made songs like lollipop which to me are pathetic and make me discriminate against a rapper because i can't trust if what they say is true.

So is Lil Wayne a sell out, yes or no.

Oh yeah, I consider him a major sellout for making a song that got insanely popular. What the fuck was he thinking? Haha so basically what you're saying is any artist who makes a song that gets super popular you "discriminate" against? How do you not trust what he says in Lollipop? You don't think he gets tons of pussy?? He's fucking Lil Wayne for shit's sake

Re: Do you consider lil Wayne a sell out?

Wayne is a smart dude he already knows he had to "sell out" to become mega-famous.

Look at what he said in the song "Don't Die" in 2006:
"And just think, I'm one sell out record away from being famous
        Shit I guess I ain't it"
Source: LIL' WAYNE LYRICS - Don't Die

Conclusion: He already knew he had to come out with some pop-sell-out shit like Lollipop to blow up real big. So he did it. Now he's extra rich and extra famous. That's what he wanted.

So call him what you will he's a mega star for life now.

All Lil Wayne is trying to do is reach out to another audience...think about, to maximize profit you can't just appeal to a certain group of people...now he's adding a lot more white folks and others that really don't listen to rap and adding them to his fan base...that's what you call smart marketing and bigger wallets....

Re: Do you consider lil Wayne a sell out?

I never even said he was a sell out, i said he has done songs that tell me he isn't true to his game.

Now if we want to talk about marketing, then thats selling out. If all he is trying to do is bei a marketer then why should i care for his rap that is just made so he can make money. Back in the day it was about love, money didn't come first. I like some of wayne's songs, but i get sick of fakeness

You are honestly implying Lil Wayne sold out because of Lollipop? My dude, that's one of his, if not, biggest hit to date.

He made songs about getting pussy, and having a girl perform head to you. That's fucking G right there. And you're acting pathetic, and still posting, continue....

You think Wayne doesn't get pussy? Head? SEX?! Either you haven't heard some of Wayne's hardcore songs, you only listen to the radio version, or aren't a 'fan'

No. You clearly haven't heard a lot of his songs, and basing his career on one song.
