Lil Wayne's "New" Pitch?

Just wondering how he gets his voice like that lol

Before it was Autotune, now its little or maybe on autotune, but it sounds like he put the pitch up on his voice. Anyone know a program/plugin I could use to get that? I'm starting to record and master music. I have Melodyne and some other Pitch Fixers, but I don't get the same result lol.

Anyone have any ideas? thanks.

lol, sort of true. but it sounds pretty sick lol, i have some dudes that are trying to sing but can't get the pitch right so i correct the pitch but i'm trying to mess with their voice a little bit xD

no offense taken! haha i do have a lot of free time, i get paid to sit in a studio and record people so when they're taking a break/writing i just like to mix and mess with voices xD

I've already asked/made a thread like this, but not with what program he uses, so it's okay It funny how ppl wouldn't admit he used some kind of voice fixer -Pretty stupid smh..

ahh, sorry about that lol. forgot i could use a search button. did you ever get an answer? lol i mean theres no way weezy's voice is like that regularly. if you hear the wasted that wasnt mastered his voice sounded pretty manly lol (no offense to weezy )

How would calling his voice manly be offensive? Lol no idea how he gets his voice like that though, I'm assuming part of it is from all the weed and syrup

Yeah, but no matter what ppl say, he DOES use some kind of help with his vocals. -and I don't hate it, I'm just sure it would be better without. Like, when was the last song we heard without any kind of vocal- or voicefixer?

i promise you this is very simple. there is no way excessive syrup use has altered his vocal cords, and he does not use a certain program to change his pitch. lol. the reason why he sounds a lil different on the final version of a track, is because his delivery is over hyped its what he does when its gametime, plus the autotune is set to a low -.20 so it still has some effect on his voice, but he uses no pitch modifier smh

the premature version of wasted that you posted was a much calmer delivery which why hs voice sounds to be at a lower frequency..

plus he is not a human being, what do you expect lol
