Not understanding means not having an idea, which is what you wrote, unless I AM the one misunderstanding YOU lol. But if you do digg what im sayin then great. How do we let Weezy kno to tell the engineers to chill in altering his voice, they think they make it sound crisper, but I think it backfired. thats my opinion and i stand by it 100%

Weezy was KNOWN for his RAW, HARSH, natural voice, it has life in it

proof that That Aint Me was recorded in the mid 2000's? And you contradicted yourself, EXACTLY your right thou Light up Rikers Remix weezy's verse was over the phone and the engineers could not alter it, so its RAW, the way I digg it.

Listen closely to how he sounds.It's very Carter II-ish,the raspyness,the witty lines,everything.

Also,I don't believe his voice is being altered by the engineers.His style has just changed a little,his voice was sort of high-pitched in No Ceilings,but I think jail has made him into a better person in a lot of ways so his new stuff will be harder.

Listen closely to how he sounds.It's very Carter II-ish,the raspyness,the witty lines,everything.

Also,I don't believe his voice is being altered by the engineers.His style has just changed a little,his voice was sort of high-pitched in No Ceilings,but I think jail has made him into a better person in a lot of ways so his new stuff will be harder.

It sounds raspy because it's his natural voice not altered by the engineers, thats my opinion and i believe in it 100%

Yall who think his voice naturally progressed into being so much higher and squeakier should listen to the WASTED song he did on no ceilings BEFORE it was altered by the engineers, the youtube link is somewhere out here, anyone have it handy? He sounds like on That Ain't Me. Then listen to WASTED from the mixtape on your iTunes, and make your own opinion out of the comparison.

Many ignorant or misinformed people think that bc Weezy is off the syrup that his voice is "cleaner" and "crisper" now therefore so high pitched, but the TRUTH is that syrup does NOT alter your voice like that.

Hmm,I see what you are talking about.

You also have to take notice that the unreleased version of Wasted being played wasn't a CDQ mp3,it was only a recording.That high-pitch is still there in both of them but it's more clearer when it's CDQ.But yeah,I agree I like that Drought 3,C2,C3 Weezy better too.I'm patiently waiting to see what he brings to C4 after he gets released.
