I respect everyones opinions but I think a lot of people need to realise this first.


Rappers like Tupac, Big, Nas, etc they are rappers which created hip hop, set the bars and influences of the whole genre, they built it up made it what it is and then you have rappers our the next generation such as (IMO) Eminem who would take all this amazing influences and took hiphop to a whole new level of skill, diversity.

Then you have Wayne, influnced by them, has better work ethic than them, learnt from them and elaborated on his own style, became unique, did things no one else did before, and that ladies and gentlemen is what I call hiphop. It never died, nor was never going to die, just ignorant people who couldn't switch between generations of great artists because they couldn't accept the next generation were just as good but in there own unique ways.

Wayne for me isn't the new Tupac, there will never be a "new tupac" every artist is there own. Wayne is Wayne and Eminem is Eminem and they will forever be up in my greatest lists for there skills.

eh. Pac was some overrated gangsta rapper who one second made songs like "Changes" and the other sec he'd make songs like "Hit Em Up" contradicting himself. Also he repped Cali like he lived there his whole life when he was actually born in New York. Lil Wayne also does some annoying shit repping bloods when he really doesn't do none of that gang shit. He's better than others at least he knows how its like to be shot but yeah. Lil Wayne is more unique to me, the only major punchline rapper before Wayne was Big L but even so Wayne's punchlines changed the rap game. The most influential rapper is Rakim to me so if he's comparing himself to Pac i don't mind

BOTH 2pac and lil wayne have got shot and surived.
