Freestyling is completely different then the way Wayne raps. Personally freestyles aren't really that good. The lyrics aren't that deep and have no meaning. There usually just a bunch of words that rhyme. Second Wayne just started writing because in jail he couldn't record. There is proof that he doesn't write, if you watch The Carter documentary or the Nino Brown documentary you can see that he does it off the dome and thinks about what to say. So don't say Wayne lies, because he doesn't freestyle he has his own way of rapping and it works for him.

are u guys fucking dumbasses?? he wrote down the lyrics for no ceilings. if some of u assholes have watched the nino brown 2 accurately he said he wrote them down because he couldnt record on the tour bus while running. man get off wayne dick. and if hes not been writing down his lyrics since he was 17, shouldnt he have mastered the art of freestyling?! come on its wayne we are talking bout here, he talks soo much shit about work ethic and being on top of the game and shit like that. he shud be able to freestyle. i bet j. cole can rape hiss ass in a freestyle.

that's like asking "if you've been on a motorcycle since you was born, shouldn't you have mastered the art of flying a plane?" i don't wanna argue. but there's a difference between freestyling and listening to music for a long time and thinking and going over lyrics again and again in your head before they come out of your mouth. just sayin lol.

What he does is not freestyling, so no he shouldn't have mastered freestyling by now because he doesn't do it. And yes I know he wrote SOME of No Ceilings but I don't understand why that's relevant to this discussion

Well it's not ALL opinions. Like it's a fact that Wayne didn't write the majority of his material before prison and it's a fact that he doesn't freestyle lol

I understand that, but some people can't understand that an opinion is based on YOUR thought. And then they get mad and start name calling when the other person doesn't agree with their opinion, then it just causes chaos. Which is why i tend to stay away from these threads.
