Think about it objectively, he stated he ghostwrote for Wayne around CII era, which his lyrics were absolute fire, since then the quality has deteriorated. Call me negative or whatever, but I'm being objective.

Gillie wasn't around in the Tha Carter II era.

He admitted he never wrote for Wayne, he "trained" him in the Tha Carter era. It was some interview where he said Weezy had good "breath control" or whatever.
