Re: lil wayne vs kanye west

I personally prefer Wayne but to anyone who says Kanye is overrated GTFO he is underated in my opinion, 3 of his 5 albums are classics and yet you never seem to hear him in the sentence as jay and wayne and em in terms of competing for the best rapper alive spot and yes MBDTF is easily the best album ive heard since Carter III.

Aye, C2 shit's on all of Kanyes albums.

Kanye can suck a dick with all of his stan boi's.

Only thing Kanye is better then Wayne at is producing.

Re: lil wayne vs kanye west

I disagree saying Kanye is only better at producing, although I agree with whoever said Wayne has charisma...even though these days Wayne seems to be getting a bit repetitive, he has a real presence on a track that I feel Yeezy can lack sometimes. Like even strong Kanye verses full of hot punchlines can sometimes leave me feeling a bit like "That was really good, next song", whereas Weezy can have 1 half decent punchline and I'll be replaying the verse, it's odd.

But aye, I'd say Kanye also writes/makes better hits/commercial songs and also uses Autotune a lot better than Wayne. Since neither are strong singers without it, might aswell compare with A-Tune. Kanye always sounds brilliant on it, from "Put On" up til the hook of "Hell of a Life" he sounds better than T-Pain to me on it lol. Whereas Wayne....it's like listening to a cat stuck in a washing machine, and much as I love Prom Queen/Paradice/Runnin' from Rebirth, he still sounds like a dying fox who happens to sound slightly cool robotic lol. Lollipop is a banger but it won't be remembered for Weezy's vocal that's for sure. Honestly I'm rambling now but Kanye is the only one I'd still like to hear on the voicebox, he's a great producer, a better lyricist 9 times out of 10 I think, more complex punchlines, makes better hits and generally brings more to a collab than a Wayne verse. He just at times lacks that real swag that Wayne got, Kanye is a bit like that nerd at school who everyone actually thought was pretty damn cool lol, he's just not got that effortless presence Weezy commands on a track.

50 can't touch the legendary Wakka Flokka Flame, an ambassador of complex rhyme schemes and the true successor to Tupac & Biggy lyrically, he's off the chain....rolex.

Cheers bro, and aye Kanye has one upped Wayne a few times when they're both on a track, but on songs like Swagger Like Us/Mayback Music 2 I'd say they're about equal, but Yeezy wins on Forever

Yeezy is great producer, MBDTF is really awesome, but Weezy is way better rapper, sorry.

Good shout, I agree on the Lollipop Remix & Barry Bonds, Maybach Im unsure on because Kanye's verse was smart but a bit dull, Wayne's had more energy but that line is awful lol. His flow is tight on it tho, best bit of that song is T-Pain tho lol
