2pacs the second greatest of all time, behind biggie.
Lupe will always be that nigga that could emcee for sure but he's not going to get bigger than he is now.
Nas isn't even relevant anymore. But ya at one point he was fuckin great.
Andre 3000 is great but you can't be the best without a solo album, and his shit lately sucks fuckin dick.
But Wayne he's been consistent since like 99. Over time his skills decreased ya, but even in jail he was on top, and is still on top and will prolly be on top for atleast the next few years.
Lyrically he is far from the best, but just cuz someone has more lyrical content doesn't make them greater.
Lil Wayne is biggest known rapper, like ever.

IMO

def one of the best to ever do it. i mean to keep spitting hot verses (most of the time) and all the other features and hooks and shit he does, and dont run out of shit to say, beast. but in my opinion not the best to EVER do it.

Ask people nowadays who nas is, most people will tell you idk unless they are actually involved with classic hip hop. Most people can't even tell you what's great about jay-z, ask people about Andre 3k and they will tell you sorry mrs. Jackson, they will know about em because beside Wayne is eminem, ems a big rapper too. Everyone knows snoop only because he smokes weed. And like no one knows rakim, or krs-1 and other emcees like that. My point? Waynes the only one besides em to stay consistent and relevant for so long.

That's why you don't hear the other rappers anymore. They don't put out the quality they used too. Like I said Wayne and em are the only ones that are consistent with that.

don't hear the other rappers where? the radio....radio = popularity, just because your songs are being played on the radio doesn't mean it's good....soulja boy is still relevant, gucci is still relevant, wacka is still relevant, being relevant doesn't mean you are putting out quality music, if that was true, wayne wouldn't be relevant right now, his last two albums were decent at best......he hasn't really put out a quality song since he dropped no ceilings imo......and wayne is one of the most inconsistent rappers in the game, he could drop a hot song or verse then come back and drop three or more straight mediocre verses and he's getting really repetitive....he's re-using punchlines, never staying on topic, and it's getting to the point where you could predict what he's gonna say before he says it....

gucci, wacka, soulja, they are all big but don't put out quality music.......i do agree that wayne does know how to change up his style to keep relevant....the only people that had anything positive to say about rebirth were die-hard wayne fans, everyone else thought it was horrible
