gucci, wacka, soulja, they are all big but don't put out quality music.......i do agree that wayne does know how to change up his style to keep relevant....the only people that had anything positive to say about rebirth were die-hard wayne fans, everyone else thought it was horrible

Exactly come to me in like a year or less and they won't be big anymore, but I get what you are saying. And ya I'm a die hard Wayne fan, I like just about everything he puts out(except shit like hit the lights and stuff in that general category) and I agree rebirth was shit, bad move career wise, because everyone says he sucks since the moment that album dropped. And INAHB was mediocre but that wasn't a project Wayne recorded for specifically. I think we should pick this conversation back up when c4 drops so that you can agree with me. Or so I can agree with you(which would make c4 another mediocre album, which is something I don't want to happen lol)

In defense of Wayne though, NOBODY can consistently put music out like him and remain at the top. I mean the rappers who we said are better than Wayne put out like 1 song per YEAR! If Wayne did that the lyrics would be nuts IMO. If Nas, Em, Jigga, or anyone else put out as much music as Wayne the quality wouldn't be nearly as good.

You can't compare the two - it's like comparing apples and oranges - they're in the same genre of music - but that's it - Wayne's been at this thing for nearly 20yrs, what he's been doing is tried and true, Kanye has only been informous for a few years - when or if Kanye even makes it even half as long as a rapper then they can be discussed with the same reverance! I highly doubt that Kanye will still be doing this in ten yrs, he's seems to value fashion, art work and hob nobbing with the rich and famous than what it takes to become a legend in the rapp world like Wayne has done at such a young age!

Right now even though Kanye is a good rapper, his anticks out way his skill - the day he stops hanging out with Kimberly Kardashian and Martha Stewart and Anna Winter(vogue editor) and discussing the latest shoes and housewares - then that will be the day that I'll take him seriously and say that he is a legend in the making - and not some idiot that dates baldheaded strippers and just snatch mics from poor little country singers - right now, he is more regarded for his informy than his artestry as a rapper!
