Aight, Rebirth got pretty poor reviews across the board, but this is a Wayne site so I'm wondering if anyone else thinks there were some really good tunes on Rebirth?
I think if some of the songs were given to someone with a better voice they'd have been bigger, Prom Queen/Paradice/Runnin' were all pretty solid rock tunes minus the vocals and Ground Zero wasn't too shabby either but it was more hip hoppy. Drop The World was obviously a banger too but that wasn't really rock either. Also probaly not the best time to say this with the Kanye/Wayne debate going on in the other thread right now but- I think that Prom Queen/Paradice would have been better if it was Kanye on the voicebox, would have fitted right onto 808s. Maybe even Drake, one of the more deeper voiceboxed singers would suit the tracks more than say your R.Kelly/Trey Songz/Lloyd singers I think. Runnin' is fine because SNL nails the hook and Wayne is pretty strong on it I'd say.
Any opinions?
