C2 had a lot of tracks that had a R&B vibe, and it's probably Wayne's best album lyrically.


He can drop a R&B single like Grown Man or Something You Forgot, where the beat is R&B'ish, he raps/sings and the hook is a R&B artist singing (Chris Brown/Trey Songz/any one of the girls in my sig).



That would be an epic single.

none of those songs you listed are R&B....I consider stuff like Lollipop, Got Money, Mrs. Officer, Prostitute, etc. as R&B...if its just sining on the hook but still has a hip-hop vibe with Wayne rapping on it...i consider that rap....

I see were your coming from but you can't say that you expect Wayne to drop all rap singles just because he's a rapper.

That's what I think too. If we're talking a song like Something You Forgot then I'm ALL for it, but I don't consider that song R&B. When I think R&B, I think Wayne singing, or in his case probably auto-tuning, and I don't want that.

Verses: Wayne rapping/singing, Chris Brown under his vocals (like Get Back Up with T.I.)

I consider that R&B.

They both have rap & r&b and there dope as hell.

I never like to say exactly what I want cuz with Wayne you don't know what to expect. It could be a mix with RnB and rap, straight rap, wayne singing on a hook etc..

He's creative and established enough to where he doesn't need to do formatted singles tho.

Whatever it is I know it will be raw as fukk and very different sounding.

thas the track with T Pain? i thought that was recorded before he went in.. we just got it after the fact.. thats just wat i thought happened lol and it was one verse thats NOT for C4[COLOR="Silver"]

I think someone on here asked the producer and he said it was one of the first verses Wayne recorded after he got out. So far everything released post jail except Fuck You was recorded post jail

Wayne sounds like a chipmunk in that song. It's borderline unlistenable. Back on topic, rap/R&B mix yes; straight R&B no.
