2. Your forgetting, the money that rappers spend on drugs, diamonds and hoes comes from the fans!
3. Like i said before, rappers are rich because ppl are buying their records. Yea we want to support them, but we're also making them richer

1. He's a grown ass man. Its perfectly normal. Ask your dad if he sends his monthly expenditures to his mom.

Artists don't make much money from selling albums. Only a fraction of the money goes to the artist. Most of it goes to the record label, then there are people involved in making the album. Engineers, guest features, producers, background vocals, samples. At the end, the artist gets a very small portion of the money. Around 1/10 of the income generated from sales goes to the artist, probably even less. Artists make most of their money from endorsements, concerts and their own lucrative dealings into the markets ie. Clothing labels, fragrances etc. So really sales doesn't matter from a artists point of view when making money but it does matter. It shows how relevant and popular the artist is and how much interest and hype the album was able to create.
