Out of nowhere, the second single off of the Carter IV hits the net. The title of the single is “John” not “If I Die Tonight“. This is the clean version, but the final version will be available on iTunes tomorrow. Carter IV, May 16th.

This is really dissapointed i keep listening to find where YMCMB saw the spark on this..I mean Ross killed it..Wayne was well wayne nothing ive never heard him say..just different.....the same beat...same hook...same production team......same artist....this song couldnt have taken more than twenty minutes.....and its a single??? seriously....im just trying to make sense out of this....Cortez and Mack are so out of touch with real hip hip....if they letting this slide for the most anticipated album of the year...

yea i definitely dont see why they would pick this song. yes its good. but the same beat from Ross's song on his CD. i just find it hard to believe that Tez and whoever else is in charge of the tracks that make it would pick this. I dont think this should be C4 the more i listen to it. it should just be a remix and the "real" single should drop tomorrow

Aight at first I was pretty pissed that Ross was on it/it's a single/its a reused hook from ross of all people, but now that I heard it I have to say its pretty dope.
Mostly the weezy verses. I've never heard I'm not a Star so idk how it sounds
