Edit: I really am a cool guy y'all lol don't make me argue. I'm gonna end everything I'm saying with: Wayne is my favorite artist and going platinum in 3-4 seriously would be a great accomplishment. I hope C4 will be my new favorite album.

I'm not saying that Wayne needs to start listing J. Cole as his idol. But imagine if Wayne went on Twitter right now and posted a hulkshare link to a 4 minute song that's straight rap, no chorus, like J. Cole just did an hour ago. The internet would crash.

All I'm saying is that if Wayne was doing what J. Cole is doing right now, he and C4 would instantly have 100x the buzz.

You're right but that's not Wayne's style I guess.

Instead he does tons of features and mixtapes. Speaking of that, D4 would be nice.

mmh, Wouldn't it be likely to blow up when he starts releasing more singles and that unplugged shit comes out, and theres also the tour... And Wayne before C3 had a much smaller fanbase than he has now too.

But yeah, im not a salesguy like you mate, just asking about this shit. I personally think that the ~~mainstream single will decide if it will be succesfull or not.

I'm not ignorant about knowing approximately how much he will sell. People don't respond to Wayne's music like they used to. Do you remember the hype before C3? People were generally more excited about it 3 months before it came out than they are right now. And that really is the way sales work when something that is already mainstream gets great reviews. I'm a year away from getting a degree majoring in Sales/Advertising and minoring in Accounting. I definitely am not ignorant to it. It's pretty easy to estimate sales if you just pay attention to culture, like; social networks, other artists' sales, radio, tv, hearing other people talk about it (which isn't much), etc.

You're probably smart but something like this cannot easily be predicted. Billboard just had an article saying Wayne will run 2011, he's way up there in social media. All we need is the commercial single then you can probably estimate. But not right now.
