Well personally I don't mind the "voice" ..like it's what he's been doing since No Ceilings. At first I was thrown off when I heard Wasted/Swag Surfin' but it's fine as long as the lyrical content is on point. I will admit I like his deeper voice but ya it's not such a big deal for me.
