nah it's retarded to only like an artist until they put out an album you don't like. these aren't gods there just people you're not gonna like everything they do. i didn't really enjoy rebirth and i barely listen to it but give the nigga a break. he's earned it, right? and if you don't try new shit you're never gonna be a trendsetter or a leader, and not everything is gonna be tight.

for example when wayne dropped a milli or when he was heavy on the autotune, shit was goin hard. he was takin chances there, like he did with rebirth. nobody was really doing that. yeah, t-pain was on the autotune, but rappers weren't really heavy on it, wayne kinda led that shit. so sometimes, it's not gonna be crack. but it seems like with wayne, 90% of the time, at least, it is.

btw this is weak cause my fav lil wayne era is when he was making all the syruppy tracks like lost, just lean, me & my drank, etc. this starts in the 04-07 part and ends in the 08-09 so i don't really have a choice

Like I said, not everyone is as tolerant as you and me (I'm a huge Wayne-head, but most of the fans "just like him"). In Holland when people heard Rebirth, most were like: Wtf is this wack shit and forgot about him. That's how it works sometimes.

TBF we had No Ceilings since then and 6'7" but nothing compares to the Carter 2 to Carter 3 period at least til we see C4 anyway
