Well most old-school users know me and know my history with Wayne, and I'm sticking to my words. 6'7" is dope. Just not the best or that impressive compared to it's hype.
Tha Carter IV vs. Watch The Throne ???

But He Was In Prison For Almost A Year, So The Hype Levels Would Obviously Be Of The Chart.

Re: 6'7' is disappointing for a Carter 4 single

A Milli will definitely do more for his career that 6'7' cuz it pushed him to the forefront of "the best of the best". A Milli introduced the world to what Wayne had been doin for years to that point, and the lyrics and the way he spit them were heard by everyone. Which ultimately gained him a countless number of new fans, and allowed him to go platinum as fast as he did. But 6'7' was just lyrically deeper and needed more thought. A Milli was a freestyle that turned into a single thanks to his dozens and dozens of features he did up to that point in which he could go off, bring it back, and wrap it up with a "weezy!" Because of that, he probably realized he could release somethin as ape as A Milli was for that time in the "mainstream", and it would put him firmly at the top, and build the needed hype for C3. The thought that i personally put into 6'7' and the amount of times i had to replay it, not to hear what he had said, but to go back and realize the thought that went into spitting that certain line in the words he chose to do so makes 6'7' better for me, PERSONALLY. As a fan that goes back to the beginning and has grown up listening to him, and has seen all the improvements/stages of his career, the feeling i had during 6'7' was anticipation, he's on the cusp of another stage/improvement however you wanna look at it, and i think he'll be better than he was. When i heard A Milli, it was the normal "god damn, what the fuck, wayne's a beast" but it didn't make me want C3 anymore than i already did. I can care less about what he does on billboard, itunes, etc. etc. but what i want is his best album of all time, after hearing 6'7' and fully digesting it, realistically i can see him delivering his best work ever.

            To Conclude:

            - A Milli goes ape-shit, no doubting that at all. But it was a bigger portrait of "Lil Wayne" to the world, than myself.

            - 6'7' goes ape-shit, and is a hint at the 'newest' dimension of Lil Wayne, which i'm being frantically patient to fully comprehend.

Re: 6'7' is disappointing for a Carter 4 single

I think both No Ceilings and 6'7' are great. His flow is kinda the same in both of 'em and lyrics...well, some tracks on No Ceilings may be on the same level, other aren't, but overall No Ceilings and 6'7' are great.
Btw, this single is really building a big hype. Everyone knows about this track and Weezy already performed this tracks serveral times on TV. Hope his next single is some really deep shit, and the 3th single a big mainstream hit like Lollipop or Got Money. (they got T-Pain now, right...? )
I got Summer hating on me cause I'm hotter than the sun
Got Spring hating on me cause I ain't never sprung
Winter hating on me cause I'm colder than ya'll
And I would never, I would never, I would never Fall
I'm being hated by the seasons, so fuck ya'll who hatin for no reason!

Yeah but he's completely redoing it now.

I think only some of the IANAHB songs were meant for C4 but I'm not sure lol
