People are dumb as shit on this site. In that song he was dissing Gillie the kid NOT Willie Go do your research and i dont think the jay-z and wayne "disses" were serious. He is a huge fan of Jay.

Considering he DOES say "shirt softer than Gillie", and then says, "i dont have time to deal with willie da squid", why would he all of a sudden just change ONE letter, from song to song. cmon, lets use some kind of common sense, willie wasnt on his level, so he said he's got no time for him. and gillie was talkin shit, sayin "i wrote this, i wrote that", and "wayne aint from apple, eagle, none of that, real niggas is somethin you'll never see wayne with.." etc etc. so he says "shirt softer than gillie". Wayne is KNOWN for goin back in his songs and changin ONE word, or ONE letter, you really dont think he would go back and change it to "gillie da squid". IMO its just using common sense.

It’s a competitive sport. There were also some comments Wayne made about “Willie Da Squid” [on Rap City]. Regardless if he’s talking about Gillie or Willie, when you say Willie, Will is gonna take it like you talking to him. If he was obviously talking about Gillie, he should have said “Gillie.”

And thats comin from the DJ, so i mean, we wont ever know, unless Wayne comes out and tells us what he meant, but its all right there. IMO its pretty apparent who he was referring to. no need to get mad/salty, its HIS mixtape, and HIS artist. so i mean, cmon.

1. Lil Wayne rarely ever says the name of the person he is dissing so why would he not?
2. cause it rhymed with the rest of the line, but i assume you were not to bright to realize that.
3. If you listen to the other songs off the damn mixtape you can tell it is directed at GILLIE which is one of the people that was going out of his way to diss him on every song he made during that time.
4. If you asking that dumb as question i assume you need to re-listen to the whole mixtape since it seems you forgot the song belongs to Da Drought 3
