i think he's down-playing himself, his talents, just cuz he knows what kinda level c4 is on.... and whoever believes his "skills are declining", is playing right into his hands... just my opinion.

c2 is my favorite album from him, however i think c4 has a great chance of changing that opinion (personally).

No one, and this goes for any occupation, maintains the same consistency of ability if they've been doing it for awhile. C2 came out in what, 2005? 2006? It's 2011. Since then, Wayne's put out thousands of music. Of course his style and lyricality is different. Same with Eminem. People complain he's Poppy and Screamy now, but of course he can't rap about Drugs and Killing and Hating his Mom because that shit's the past, we've heard it all, we have to move on to new things. I'm sure if Wayne was the same Wayne he was before, niggas would still be complaining that it's the "same old shit" with him. Give him a chance to impress you before you criticize.

ooo, i was nas would go back to the illmatic style.... Without a doubt that was nas best album, but like in wayne's case he moved on, and switched us flow a lil, to appeal to a different audience, same thing as jay-z its what you have to do to stay in the game. And i think wayne actually gets it now, thats why i think carter 4 will be some of his best work, because it appeals to many audiences. I think he wants to go back to that form, but look at some of the problems wayne had at that time, and his problems now? He's great at expressing his feelings, but nothing that hes rapping about is'nt false. Fish tank with sharks in it, is true. You will hear him talk about his blood gang affilates but hes not saying hes a crip killer are nothing. So i think the change style helped him, in the time where people would probably get bored of his same flow.
