uhmm you get dreads made by hair-stylists for ca. 300 - 600 euro. It takes ca. 1-2 hours. They make you every size you wanna have. Also with cornrows. I guess Wayne let them make by a hair stylist.

this got me thinking, what if he kept his long hair but he took the braids out (thats what u would take out right? lol idk) anyway. that would be interesting looking, like some andre 3k look from the hey ya video but longer

Lol at this whole thread! I have dreads, they r not braids & u can't take them out just like that. Of course it's his real hair. Hair does grow, & as they got longer, he probably got them tightened, for a more professional/smoother look. Yes, u can decide what size dreads u want when u first get them.. And also, when u constantly braid them, they get smaller/tighter. It's hair.
