what happened to him saying you're never truly retired on that skit from dedication 2?

would i ever think about retiring? I look at retiring like you retire out when you die out, straight up. You could never retire out what you do, meaning if what you do is your life like mine. My career is my life, so I could never retire out, even when I stop rapping, I'm still going to be in one way or sort of fashion it it.

I am not mad about him retiring, I'm glad he's thinking about his kids.. thats why I like Wayne, he's a real nigga! lol And like he said he will still be in one way or another in it. With all the music we have plus all the music we get in the next 7 years, that will for sure be more than enough

another point to make is that while wayne is retired they will be releasing all the music that he has recorded over the years obviously

he records almost every night now
and there's unreleased songs probably going all the way to carter 1 or even before that
so if he retires they'll released them
but i think he'll still make music but not the same rate as now, we get features mostly everday
at age 35 we probably get a feature every month or so
but still 7 years is a while from now lol
