it's both. the way they mix/master his voice makes a HUGE difference on how he sounds, especially if they add good autotune vs the cheap sounding autotune.

BUT at the same time, it's up to wayne how high/low pitch he makes his voice. when it sounds all screechy, that's on him lol.

he means like, it's getting lower again like it used to be back in the day - where as the last 5-6 wayne projects have all been his high pitch screechy voice.
